Introduction Cryptozoospermia is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as presence of isolated sperm cell in ejaculate only identified after an extended microscopic search or being pelleted. Although number spermatozoa usually sufficient for intracytoplasmic injection (ICSI), ICSI fails due to poor quality some cases. Contention remains regarding whether testicular offers any advantage this unique situation. At our tertiary referral center, we will offer patients a surgical retrieval via conventional microdissection extraction (microTESE) men with cryptozoospermia and failed ICSI, where ejaculated specimens are immotile insufficient ICSI. In study, sought describe experience evaluate predictors success cryptozoospermic who had microTESE at center. Methods We retrospectively reviewed electronic medical records all underwent between 2007- 2021 deemed be (e.g., nonmotile sperm). evaluated demographics, preoperative lab results, pathology rate (SRR) outcomes.
